Mr O Brien will travel to Qatar next week to swim in the World Masters Aquatic Championships. He will represent Cork Masters Swimming club and will be part of a group of swimmers to represent Ireland at the event. He will swim in a variety of events, varying in distance from 400m to 50m in Frontcrawl and Butterfly. He is also part of 3 relay teams. Mr O Brien swam the qualifying times for this event over the last couple of years in events across Ireland and UK. There will be some tough competition from all over the world but he is delighted to be participating at such a high level. Best of luck
