Board of Management
The Board of Management is responsible for the overall governance of the school on behalf of the Patron and in accordance with the Education Act 1998. The Board ensures that the school is managed in line with its ethos, that policies required by legislation and the Department of Education are in place, and that school finances, staffing and resources are properly managed. It supports the work of the principal and staff while respecting their responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school. The Board also has a key role in safeguarding the welfare of pupils and ensuring that the school provides a safe, inclusive and well-managed learning environment for all children.
